Senior Design Lead, Immersive/Experience

We are hunting for a very special Senior Design Lead with 8+ years’ experience in conceptual and detailed design for large-scale public and/or commercial spaces. With genuine interest and passion for spatial design, architecture, events and immersive experiences, and as a visionary Creative Designer, you would be joining the leadership team as it grows and evolves, overseeing fabulous opportunities across community spaces, high-tech experience centres, national museums, and immersive activations for local and international brands.

Bridging the gap between high-level conceptual strategy and technical execution, you'll be the creative guardian for exciting projects, ensuring that every spatial narrative is as structurally sound as it is emotionally resonant. This is a leadership role that still requires your hands-on-the-tools expertise for the creation of immersive digital experiences, brand identities, and digital products, to creatively tell stories and bring core messages and long-lasting ideas to life as beautifully crafted and highly functional design systems. Blending creativity and technology, it's all about ensuring that the design journey is engaging and enjoyable whilst elevating the standard of immersive storytelling and spatial design using your understanding of construction materials, bespoke production processes and the psychology of visitor engagement.

With proven leadership ability and excellent communication and presentation skills, you’ll also have advanced Adobe Suite, including SketchUp. You love a challenge and you're innovative in your ability to solve problems - pushing boundaries is a passion. We are looking for prior museum or cultural institution experience (in-house or a consultancy design team), or immersive experience in a design studio, industrial design across spatial work in permanent installations, theme parks, or brand experience centres.
